Hey now! You're looking at a monster bass.
This is a Schecter Diamond Series CV-5 Electric Bass Guitar.
It weighs 10 lbs 3 oz. 35" Scale, 1.78" nut width.
This one comes with a ridiculously figured maple neck (See all photos).
Schecter started as a custom guitar maker in the 80s, handling famous clients who would commission custom guitars for big money.
In the late 90s, Schecter was resurrected and the Diamond Series was born.
These guitars/basses have the famous Schecter tone and playability, at a fraction of the price.
The CV-5 is one of the coolest pieces in the bass line.
The alder body combined with the high mass bridge brings big low end resonance to the table.
The deep body cutaway and heel-less feel gives you incredible reach to all 24 frets.
Grabbing up all that thump, Schecter installed dual Duncan Design pickups, a MM style humbucker and a jazz style single.
This gives you access to virtually any bass tone, classic warmth, tight slap/pop, and aggressive rock tones.
These pickups run into an active 9v 3-band EQ. Controls for Bass, Mid, Treble and a Slap/Pop switch.
It's in good overall condition. Just setup, the neck is straight and the frets are clean. Typical play wear here, marks/scratches, some dings - please look through all of my pictures for a better visual description.
This is a LOT of bass without breaking the bank.
Don't miss out on this 2004 Schecter CV-5.
Thanks for looking.
