What is now called a Classic Series Marching Snare drums case.
But in fact this case is much more than that. When it was purchased it was called a "dual" or timbale case, in that is has a divider. This case is lined with foam and the divider is covered both sides with foam. I have 2 of these cases and this one remained in my teaching studio storing snare drums. The other was used on many, many gigs and I stashed a snare drum and throne seat in it without any problems. The sequence of the last 4 photos will show a 6.5 x14 Acrolite snare drum, the divider, and a Ludwig Atlas throne seat stored in the case. Works great!
If you are not familiar with the Protechtor line, they are bullet proof. VERY sturdy cases. Maybe not indestructible, but close. This one may not look like it did when is came off the line but trust me it has a lot of like left in it.
Thank for looking!
