1959 Arnold Hoyer German made Expo Archtop Guitar Handmade

This is one of the finest sounding and playing archtops I have had the pleasure of having in the store. She is just amazing, hand made, hand carved. The workmanship is off the chart , the binding is flawless. Original custom bridge and pickguard, both are oem. I added a foto without the pickguard, she's a stunner. She has very few minor scuffs otherwise she is near mint.I have not even buffed her out yet but will take more fotos when I do.

Wonderful tonal qualities and presence, check out the proprietary bridge. The bridge delivers and beyond that just sounds amazing, will try to get some audio up. There are a few Hoyers out there, not to be confused with Rodabald Hoyer, a great luthier also from Germany, no relation. This one is just in exceptional shape and sounds even better. He passed away in 1967, but even at the height of his popularity running 20 some employees, he and his lead tech were the only ones allowed to build a guitar sold from his shop. This is a beauty from one of the most famous luthiers in Europe.
