This listing is for a really nice Vintage 1965 Harmony made Stella H-929 Tenor Acoustic Guitar. This guitar was made by Harmony under the Stella logo in Summer of 1965. This Tenor is in excellent original condition and is one of the nicest examples of this model I have come across. The guitar is all original and comes with a really nice red chipboard case and some tenor instructional booklets from the 1960's. It really looks like someone bought this at Sears in 1965 and then never played it. Harmony made some nice Acoustic guitars in the 1960's. They were fairly entry models and are made from laminate wood but these have a surprisingly nice sound.
This one is playing very well with low and comfortable action. The bridge shows a little space underneath but these are screwed down from the factory so I don't think the bridge is going anywhere. That said, the buyer should be aware that there is a slight lift in the bridge. These use light strings so there isn't a lot of tension on the bridge so I do not believe any repair is necessary at this time.
The guitar is cosmetically in excellent shape and has very little visible wear. The Tenor is all original and has no changed parts.
The guitar comes with a lovely small red chipboard case that is also in really nice shape and fits the tenor perfectly. Three vintage guitar books are included as it shows in the pictures.
