I found an interesting hoard of Gibson parts which included a nice supply of bridge pins. These were stored in a garage since the 1980’s They came from the estate of a luthier that worked in the Kalamazoo plant over several decades and I assume he brought the parts home when the Kalamazoo factory. closed in 1985. I have not been able to determine if these are seconds or if they were used or not. Some appear to have defects in terms of marks others do not. They are nicely discolored having been stored over nearly 40 years. They vary in look and toning but what I like about these is that they show their age and will add authenticity to your vintage Gibson acoustic. I haven’t gotten around to photographing other items but expect more in the near future. I took several pictures to give you an idea of what these look like. I have tried to match head color but made up random sets as these do vary as can clearly be seen in my photos. As can be seen in my group picture I have hundreds of these bridge pins to sort through and make sets. I am diligently removing any bent or obvious seconds if they are good usable bridge pins I am making sets. If you have a preference in well or lessor aged some are more ivory colored than others from age. I will try and accommodate..
