This is a vintage 1987 Fender ‘67 reissue Stratocaster restored with a vintage solid Swamp Ash made in USA 1980s custom Strat body with an incredible Olympic White Blonde nitrocellulose lacquer finish with authentic players wear and relic patina with lacquer checking. There is a woodblock repair next to the tremolo, with a “custom” SRV sticker on top.

It is loaded with ST67 vintage reissue MIJ Alnico pickups paired to upgraded CTS pots with blender mod and 5-way CRL switch, and all custom wiring throughout with vintage paper in oil capacitor. The tremolo is a high-end custom made bridge system; it features made in USA American Vintage reissue bridge plate with Pat. Pend, saddles, and a full depth Kluson tone block and Pure Vintage Fender tremolo kit.

The ‘67 reissue neck has some areas of the original finish worn away, most notably on the headstock and fretboard. It has a fantastic road worn look, especially on the fretboard and back of neck profile. This maple neck features a 7.25” radius fretboard radius with rolled edges, Kluson style Gotoh MIJ tuners, slightly narrow 1.6” bone nut, 21 extra jumbo 6100 frets (refret), and C profile with .84” / .9” thickness. This neck has no skunk stripe and it features vintage style truss rod adjustment at the heel. The pencil date at the heel appears to read 2-2-87.

The guitar is set up with regular light 10/46 strings. It weighs 6.9 lb and feels well balanced on a strap.

Ahead of schedule delivery intact. This excellent specimen of a 1998 cij67/68 Hendrix natural ash body guitar was described physically on spot. Hearing and feeling are hard to convey online. Love the small-dimensioned neck still retaining nice resonance. It's a keeper before and after the amp is on. Way to go with providing near new case and it's candy, on top of it all, a wall hanger, wow. Thanks Leftys!
