Up for sale is a very clean and excellent example of a vintage 1965 F series Strat.

This guitar is 100% original except for a five switch but the original three one is included.

Neck stamps date this September 2nd, 1965 and is 2 SEP65B.

The neck is straight with zero issues and fully functioning truss rod.

Frets are also in excellent shape with very little wear.

This has the original pickups sound strong and amazing.

Guitar weights 7.5 pounds.

A fantastic sunburst color, transitional Stratocaster featuring the pre-CBS small headstock with transitional decal and pearl dots, shows cosmetic wear including finish checking and dings, no broken solder joints, A great player sporting a low action and comfortable medium-C neck profile. Not only does this Strat play and look amazing, but it sounds equally as good! These mid-’60s grey bottom pickups tend to be a little chunkier, while still retaining the classic Strat tone making them very versatile.

This 1965 Stratocaster has been purchased from a Dallas music store and studio, in 2014. What a great sounding and feeling guitar, F serial number back plate and small headstock. Since it's been a real working horse instrument there a couple of changed parts the guitar received during the years (5 way switch, extra string tree, extra mini switch). The holes have been filled before we purchased the guitar. Other than that it's original, no oversprays or refinished parts, great neck and TONE! You can tell why it's been loved so much. It really sings!

A small crack on the low e string that was repaired and does not affect the guitar functioning.
