Yamaha GT-2000L:
A vintage Japanese "Golden Era" turntable with a clean, timeless design!
Item Description

The Yamaha GT-2000, released in 1982 during the "Golden Era" of Japanese audiophile equipment, is a highly-respected direct-drive turntable that was released exclusively in Japan. The GT-2000 offers exceptional performance by virtue of its robust and unerring construction. The oversized ultra-pure 5.8 kg (12.8 lb) aluminum platter provides highly stable and inertial rotation, for extremely precise pitch reproduction. On top of its playback performance, the GT-2000 is overall a visually beautiful piece of equipment. The " L "version here features a gorgeous walnut finish on the plinth, adding tasteful luxury to an already phenomenal piece of audio equipment. This unit features the automatic arm-lifting feature.

This turntable is in very good condition, with only very minor aging, including some scratches, coloration, scuffs and oxidized on metal part (see pictures). Tone arm base has noticeable crack. The dust cover has some scratches (please see pictures and refer to dust cover policy below). Including Auto Lifter Adjust. Further, this turntable has been rigorously tested by our professional technician, confirming its flawless operation. This is as expected from Yamaha products of this era, which were built for a lifetime of operation.
