Late 1940s or Early 1950s Kay Mahogany archtop with arched back.
Original Kluson tuners and appears to be original tail piece and pickguard (which was slightly modified to accommodate a pickup at one time).
Condition: This guitar is in pretty good shape. There are some dents/scratches on the top, but the back and neck look great.
As previously stated and seen in the pictures, at one time this guitar had a pickup installed so there are a few small holes from the installation. Evidence points to a DeArmond.
There is a small, strange discoloration near the low E tuner on the headstock. It’s not a crack or dent and doesn’t even affect the finish.
Neck is large but really comfy, but I know that’s subjective.
Currently the guitar is playable, but the action is set to about as low as it can. If you were to purchase this as one of your main players, there may be need for a neck reset.
No case, but will be packaged well.
Shopping is high estimate to lower 48 states. I will gladly refund any difference.
If you are in the Milwaukee or Madison (WI) area, I can do local pick up.
I will ship international but please contact before purchase to get a shipping estimate.
