The BDA8 digital-to-analog converter daughter card is the result of over 25 years of research, development and experience. This world-class converter utilizes the exact same Class A discrete transistor circuit path as the best-selling B2 Bomber analog-to-digital converter. The BDA8 offers eight channels of Burl’s renowned audio quality in a compact daughter card format with DSUB connectivity for added flexibility.

BOPA2 Op-Amp

The BDA8 converter is equipped with Burl’s newly designed NextGen BOPA2 op-amp for tighter bass and higher definition throughout the audio spectrum. Instruments and mixes have more dimension, with a wider stereo image and even more depth while preserving the original shape and harmonic balance of the source.

Burl Audio Mothership

Burl Audio are known for their innovate B80 and B16 Mothership rack devices, which can be customized with preamps, digital audio converters, word clocks and more. Each daughter card is equipped with transformers in the input stage and op-amps in the output stage, combining the flexibility and pristine sound of digital audio with the character and attitude of an all class-A discrete signal path.
