Sept 12 2023 full setup from Dangelo guitars in NJ. 30 year old vintage MIM strat in excellent condition with 3 killer mods and a new set of brand new American made Buddy Guy pickups.

As you probably know, in the mid-90s the Mexican fender factory burnt down and the American factory took over much of the manufacturing and to this day, many people consider the late 90s Mexican strats to be as good or better than current American Strat models. This came out of that golden era of Mexican strats.

Wonderful roasted maple neck with that deep vintage orange we all want. This thing has aged in all the right places and is a very special guitar for sure. All original parts except a massively upgraded loaded custom made pickguard using Official Fender Artist Series Buddy Guy Stratocaster Hot Ceramic Pickup Set (read details below).

Includes Treble Bleed and Grease Bucket circuits plus the "Blender Pot" mod. Kester leaded solder too. Only the best.
Trem cover and all original Screws. All new cloth wiring with the highest end parts money can buy including 3 custom circuits, orange drop mods and fresh strings, Fender gig bag and whammy bar. Boom!

Action is absolutely perfect. Never really needed anything. Just one of those magic starts that was made perfectly and plays itself. I’ve owned probably over a hundred starts in my lifetime as a collector and this is my personal go to, my favorite. Your hands just melt into the neck, it’s one of those that really is just a solid, killer sounding gem. If you know, you know. When you play this one, you’ll know too.

I’ve come to realize I am unable to use any Strat. My right hand always ends up turning down the volume when I play strats cause of the location of how close the vol pot is to the bridge so I am kinda unable to use any strat at all. They just don’t work for me. Wish they did, they sound great but I just can’t play them…. Unless I reroute them completely and wreck their value, which I will not do to this guitar for obvious reasons.

DETAILS:

The Grease Bucket Tone Circuit Mod
A regular tone circuit in a Strat is
a 250K potentiometer with .022 orange drop capacitor. This Grease Bucket Tone Circuit is also
a 250K potentiometer with .022 capacitor, but with 4.7K resistor and .1uf
capacitor.

With the regular 250K, as the tone
is rolled off, there is an increase in bass frequency. And as you roll the tone
knob back and forth, a "wow" or "wah" sound is heard. Not on this unique guitar!

With the Grease Bucket tone circuit,
as the tone is rolled off, bass frequency isn't increased. And as you roll the
tone knob back and forth, less "wow" or "wah" is heard.

Grease Bucket Mod
The idea with the Grease Bucket tone
circuit is keep the bass EQ "flat" so as the tone is rolled off, bass
boom isn't added in, thereby making the tone control on the Stratocaster guitar
more usable...

The Treble Bleed Circuit Mod
The treble bleed mod is a circuit
which can help you keep the treble in the guitar signal, when you're turning
down the volume potentiometer. As you know, attenuating the
volume pot knob not only decreases the volume but also makes the tone darker & smoother. This is rarely ideal as you are losing some high frequencies you shouldn't. This unique mod will help prevent treble frequencies from bleeding out and allows you to lower the volume without messing with your tone (for once!).

The Blender Pot Mod
The Blender
wiring has 1 volume, 1 master tone, and a Blender Pot. In the neck
position you can blend the bridge pickup in as much as you want. In the bridge
position you can blend the neck pickup in as much as you want. In positions 2
and 4 you can have all three pickups on. No extra switches or pots!

NOTE: If you keep the
tone and volume maxed (turned all the way), these circuits will have no effect, just like a standard
Strat. They only function when Volume, treble and tone is turned down or when the Blender pot is moved from zero position.

COMES WITH DELUXE PADDED FENDER BRAND GIG BAG LIKE NEW.
Sounds like the nicest strat you've ever heard hands down, plus it plays like an absolute dream. You will not find a more buttery neck, your hand melts right into the frets and you could play this in your bed while you sleep it's so smooth. Almost no effort is needed to play this guitar as it's been set up as smooth and low as a guitar has ever been. It is just one of the most special, wonderful playing strats you'll ever play and the versatility is unmatched. I just can't say enough about this guitar. In all honesty, this is a real gem and is as nice as any American Strat that's ever been. A true vintage classic made BEST. Has minimal wear for a guitar of this age. Headstock dosn't have a ding on it!

Everything a Strat should be. Made in Mexico in 1994. Arctic White
finish over an Alder body.  Maple neck with a 21-fret Rosewood
fingerboard. 7.6 lbs. All original except new loaded pickguard. Super Straight neck. Light
fret wear on the cowboy chords. The guitar is overall in very clean shape.
Some honest wear typical for a 28 year old guitar. Very few scuffs, dings,
dents, chips and a couple of typical finish cracks at the neck pocket.
A very solid guitar. It comes with a Fender gig bag, new strings (light size 10) & tremolo (whammy bar).

Also comes with the original paperwork, whammy bar, Allen wrench and owners manual in a sealed unopened bag.
