This 1987 American Standard Stratocaster is looking for a good home. I bought this as a project and just lost time for it. It functions and holds stable tuning when strung up but I’m leaving the strings off just in case.
To the best of my knowledge here what’s original:
The neck
The neck plate and screws
The tuning keys
The body
The bridge with the exception on one saddle that looks like it has been replaced.
The pickguard
The back plate
The tone pots and caps
The pickups and volume pot are not original. The volume pot I think dates to 1994 so I’m assuming that’s when the pickups where changed. The pickups appear to be Seymour Duncan SSL-1s.
The body shows signs of obvious damage but again it is completely stable when strung up.
comes with original hardshell case that is pictured in the last photos. does not come with the case that the guitar is photographed propped up on
