Framus Octave Mandolin Conversion 1970"s sunburst

A dandy little Octave Mandolin made by converting a Framus parlor guitar. Maple sides and a flamed maple back with a spruce top and a bolt on maple neck that can be shimmed for the perfect action. This instrument has a  strong sweet sound with a lot of sustain. Dimensions are 36 inch total length,23 inch scale length,12 inch lower bout, 9 1/4 upper bout.  Comes with an odd shaped chipboard case,Maybe original case ?
