Crocodile Rock!
For sale: This is a vintage MIJ Crown five piece drum set that has been rewrapped in a faux silver metallic crocodile skin finish. This kit upon arrival was in very poor used condition and it’s existing wrap was faded, cracked and badly damaged beyond repair. Inspired by the metallic “croco” wraps on vintage Trixon drums this Crown kit has made an incredible comeback!
The kit consists of a 22” ten lug bass drum, 12” and 13” rack toms, 16” floor tom and a 14” 10 lug snare with a dual snare tension throw-off.
All drums have been fitted with brand new Remo
coated Ambassador heads.
The entire kit has been taken apart down to its bare shells, all hardware cleaned, oiled and polished, new wrap, reassembled, tuned and are ready to play. Everything works properly as should (internal mufflers/tone controls, snare throw-off/strainer and all mounting hardware).
Bearing edges and shells are solid with no issues to mention. The bass drum is fitted with a bracket for an L arm cymbal stand but does not come with the kit. Snare stand in photo is also not included.
Selling price is for the drums and mounting hardware only.
