Ludwig 40" x 18" Concert Bass Drum Keystone Badge 1969 White Marine Pearl

Vintage 1969 Ludwig 40" x 18" Concert Bass Drum in White Marine Pearl wrap with original stand. The serial number on the keystone badge dates it to 1969. This is an absolutely massive bass drum that moves a lot of air. And it's on wheels!

This drum was used at a high school and the condition is consistent with that. The photos show the issues. One hoop is broken but can be repaired. Several of the tension rods and claws are bent, some more than others. Some are bow tie rods and others use a drum key. The wrap has old sticker residue on it and needs a good deep cleaning in general. The shell itself is solid. The stand works and rolls well but has areas of missing paint and tarnish consistent with its age. Two of the allen screws are missing but they don't interfere with the functionality.

This drum is local pickup from Little Rock, Arkansas only. Picking it up in person will allow you to inspect it and also considerably reduce your costs. Shipping it would involve putting it on a pallet and using a freight company, and it would be hundreds of dollars. I might be willing to drive a couple of hours to meet the buyer - but I don't have a truck so I'd be riding in a convertible with the top down.
