Please note, I do list all of my guitars local via Facebook (including many Groups on Facebook with National reach). Most of my gear typically moves quickly for cash or trade. I reserve the right to pull this listing from Reverb at any moment. I move fast! Let's make a deal. Buy from me with confidence. Mahalo. Do note, I do not consider an item sold on Reverb until payment has cleared.

This is a wild Tele! It's half John 5 Telecaster, half American Professional. The John 5 double bound body has a Strat trem, 500k pots, a black pickguard and an added killswitch. Under the hood it has a set of Seymour Duncan's (a '59 neck and a Custom 5 bridge) - the set sounds fantastic. The American Professional neck has lovely figuring. It has the tones of a Les Paul, the feel of a Tele and the trem of a Strat - so it's basically the 2nd best guitar ever. Includes a gig bag and the trem arm pictured. Weighs in at 8.9lbs.
Condition wise, this guitar is in very good shape. It has a few small marks here and there from light play, but truly nothing major to report on. The black finish shows wear, smudges and marks with ease. That said, if I can show you anything further, don't hesitate to ask!
I do purchase Reverb Safe Shipping for your added peace of mind. I do live on an island - so my shipping times often vary.
The following verbiage is by no means meant to scare you in anyway. I put this same text in all of my listings. If there's issues that I find with the guitar, I will always disclose it above or to the best of my ability via photographs. By purchasing this instrument you agree to the following. Before I ship any guitar, I do take a thorough pre-shipment video of every inch of the instrument prior to packaging it. I will also plug it in and run through the electronics quick to ensure everything works before it leaves my possession. Once complete, I’ll share this video with you via a private message. It’s the least I can do, given you are buying a guitar sight unseen!
As with any used guitar that transfers from one owner to another - it will need a setup per your personal preference. Do also note, I am shipping from Florida (a humid climate). When a guitar is shipped I highly suggest waiting 24-48 hours to let it acclimate to a new climate. Any shipped guitar can and often will experience subtle changes in shipment (causing buzzing, broken strings, string spacing movement, wood expanding/shrinking among other things etc.).
Please know, I sell used items here and I do my absolute best to disclose any issues, dents, dings and scratches present on the items I sell. That said, some small things can go unnoticed. Fretwear is often impossible to picture at great detail, small finish swirls, scratches, marks etc. can go unnoticed to my imperfect eyes and camera lens. In terms of frets, I cannot promise perfection. You may have to tweak this guitar in many ways to your personal liking as I would expect to do to any guitar I purchase online.
In addition, unless noted otherwise - I do not inspect the electronics cavity for modifications, additional routing, issues etc. Thus, I cannot comment on the integrity of any modifications. Nor do I adjust or check truss rods/structural integrity unless noted otherwise. I can only confirm out of the box playability for you *unless noted otherwise. Some guitars may have modifications that go unnoticed or you feel were not done correctly. Again, it will need a setup per your preference because of this. All said, I am not a store, so there is no returns or refunds accepted under any circumstances. By making this purchase you understand and agree to all of the following. All sales are final. This item comes as is.
I encourage you to message me directly anytime at all. I take pride in delivering a 5 star experience. I'm always happy to answer any questions you may have.
That’s all folks. Thanks!
