Like the animal it's named after, the Jaguar has powerful, yet refined sound, and its avant-garde style has been captivating players since the beginning of its release. Featuring a sleek Jaguar build, '70s style, and diverse electronics, this guitar is great for retro-loving rockers.
Sleek Jaguar Build
With its curvy, off-set design, this Classic Vibe '70s Jaguar is shaped from poplar. The body sports a characteristic pickguard/hardware combination, and is finished in gloss polyurethane. The neck is cut from maple into a "C" shape and has a 24" scale length for a shorter-than-average, more compact instrument. It's also capped by an Indian laurel fingerboard with cream binding lined between.
'70s Style
The look of this Jaguar is vintage to the bone. The neck is finished in vintage tinted gloss, giving it a classy old-school look. The hardware is nickel plated, and there's a 6-saddle vintage-style bridge with non-locking floating vibrato to really add flavor to your playing. The headstock of this Jaguar boasts vintage-style tuning machines and period-style headstock markings, driving home the awesome '70s style.
Diverse Electronics
Just looking at the Jaguar's electronics can be a bit overwhelming if you're not familiar with them, but they are easily mastered with a little knowledge. This Jaguar has two Fender-designed alnico single-coils, controlled by two circuits: lead and rhythm. The circuit selector switch is in the top corner. Moving it down engages the lead circuit, which is adjusted with all the controls on the bottom of the guitar. This includes the knobs for volume and tone, and the three switches which contain a pickup selector for both bridge and neck pickups, as well as a tone circuit switch. Moving the circuit selector up engages the rhythm circuit, and only the neck pickup and two thumb knobs on top are active which adjust volume and tone. With all these fun switching options, the Jaguar has a lot to offer any player.
