Vintage 1942 War Era Kay Archtop Natural w Flamed Burst

Absolutely gorgeous 1940 Kay Vintage Archtop Guitar
I have had a couple of these over the years and they are absolute gems The quality of the build the great finishes and paint scheme. This even has the cool tortoise binding they used once in a blue moon during this era She looks great and sound even better, please see the fotos. She has a few small scuffs from the yrs, or I'd list her as mint,, Neck has been reset and frets and fingerboard leveled, re-crowned and polished out. She plays effortlessly and sounds just as nice. Solid carved Spruce top definitely shines with the tone. Ships with a new Gator tour bag as well to keep her snug. She's an every day player ready for all you got for another 40 - 50 yrs Comes with the original pressed Kluson open tuners, and they are in great shape Did switch out the bridge to get the break angle raised a bit for tone and volume She needs a good home, she is a true gem @ 80 yrs of age
