Imaginez un musicien de Los Angeles en 1982, il rejoint un groupe dont tous les membres ont un instrument noir, et il repeint donc sa Strat Candy Apple Red de 1969, et profite de la modification pour la transformer en guitare 1 micro humbucker avec un vibrato moderne. Cette création exclusive du Custom Shop est le résultat de cette histoire imaginaire, mais la guitare n'est pas imaginaire, et c'est tant mieux ! Cette Strat est un véritable monstre, très sonore avec le Shawbucker qui est un PAF parfaitement adapté à Fender, ainsi qu'un vibrato deux-points et une découpe d'accès aux aigus à l'arrière du manche. Un monstre !

Picture this: the Sunset Strip in 1982, a guy joins a band, they all have black instruments, so the guy paints his 69 Candy Apple Red Strat in black, and transforms it into a one-pickup monster with a modern vibrato. This Custom Shop creation is the result of that imaginary story. Thankfully, the guitar is not imaginary, and it is a tone monster, with a very loud acoustic sound. The Shawbucker is a PAF perfectly voiced to complement the Strat and with a modern two-post vibrato and a cutaway at the heel to access the last notes for the ending of the shred solo. A monster !
