The loerie is a revolution in ergonomic guitar design. This one is a super comfortable, superbly balanced, compact, lightweight, S-Style Loerie in hard pear and khaya mahogany. Padauk trim makes it an all-African wood affair, and the Italian-made multiscale tremolo from T4M and 60s strat pickups from Porter Pickups make it truly cosmopolitan. This guitar is named after the Knysna loerie (Tauraco corythaix), a strikingly beautiful and shapely South African forest bird that occurs predominantly in the Knysna forests, which are also where the hard pear on the top of this guitar grew. This guitar ships in a good condition, used, hard case.
