Guitare Collection présente cette très belle Fender Stratocaster de 1973 en finition Natural et dotée d'une touche en palissandre.
Cette guitare a eu plusieurs vies et a connue quelques modifications tout au long de son parcours.
Son vernis original a été décapé pour laisser place à une teinte naturelle légèrement plus sombre que celle que l'on retrouve habituellement sur les Strats de cette période, à la limite d'un Mocha. Au cours de cette opération, le corps a été affiné au niveau des bords pour laisser apparaître un chanfrein légèrement plus prononcé qu'à l'origine sur tous le contour.
La plaque arrière et le pickguard noirs sont des pièces Fender récentes, de même que les micros qui sont des Fender Custom Shop de 2009, bobinés à la main. Une des mécaniques a également été remplacée.
Ces modifications en font un instrument au look unique, qui combine authenticité et modernité. Le son est tout à fait à la hauteur de ce qu'on peut attendre d'une très bonne Strat du début des années 1970 : basses profondes et boisés, aigus brillants et équilibrés, un pur bonheur.
La guitare possède également une jouabilité et un confort rarement constatés sur un instrument de cette âge.
Une excellente Strato qui mérite encore de longues années de jeu !

Guitare Collection is proud to present this beautiful Fender Stratocaster from 1973 in Natural finish with a Rosewood fretboard.
This guitar had a long life and has known some modifications throughout its journey.
Its original finish has been ripped and replaced by a natural teint, slightly darker than what can usually be found on Strats of this era, almost closed to a Mocha. During this operation, the body has been refined on the edges to let see a chamfer slightly more marked than the original all around the body.
The black rear plate and the pickguard are modern Fender parts, such as the pickups which are Custom Shop Fender pickups, hand coiled. One of the tuners has also been replaced by a vintage style one.
Those modifications result in a singular and unique looking instrument, which combines authenticity and modernity. The sound is exactly what one could wait from a very good Strat from the early 1970's : deep and woody basses, bright and balanced high, complete joy.
The guitar also has a playability and a comfort rarely seen with a Strat of this age.
It is a great Stratocaster which deserves a lot more years of playing !
