This Contrabass (Contra bass) flute is essentially new, but is being sold as a factory second. There is a very small dent in the upper bow and the screw to tighten the right hand segment to the left hand segment is not the original screw.
The list price for this instrument is $10,599, and can be found for as low as $9,280 which is a fantastic deal for a contrabass flute of this quality. Getting an instrument like this could be a great way to get a great playing contrabass for about half of what another would usually go for. It's like getting over $1200 for free just to because one screw is not the original.
This instrument has been checked over by our instrument tech and is in great shape other than the small dent and replaced screw already mentioned.
