“Worn in all the right places”

The coolest, most americana distressed / weathered guitar on Reverb? Possibly. I have a massive collection of guitars and people often gravitate to this one for obvious reasons. You can't buy new guitars like this, they have to be made like a pearl over decades of use. Like Willie Nelson’s guitar, it is a piece of worn and torn history, worn in all the right places. I'm in no rush to sell and have owned it for 25 years myself. In fact, the pictures here are about 20 years old, when the 002 in those shots was a great interface! hahaha

This guitar was the Flagship model of Harmony line and is the only harmony to have exclusive tortoise binding.

I sunk a ton of money into her too to bring her back from the dead. No, the neck was ever cracked, but the top was sunken way in because of bracing had failed. Izy at the Magic shop in Manhattan (Eric Claptons US luthier) did the work perfectly & now it’s solid as a rock.

This is just a super cool guitar that I just know someone will fall madly in love with the way I did when I first got her and fixed her up. Now it’s time for her to meet a new love, I own way too many guitars and don’t play half of them (check out my other listings too!)

The work that was done:
This guitar was a basket case when I got it as a payment for my security deposit (landlord was a musician... and broke). I spent over $400 just to have it done up right. The top was sunken in because of a broken brace inside under the bridge so it was completely replaced and reset. The back had a crack down the middle and the binding was coming up in places. A few of the tuners were stuck too so $650 later I got it back from the Magic Shop in SOHO good as new.
