"Fender found inspiration in the custom-outfitted Teles of the late-‘60s and early-‘70s to create the Fender Classic ’72 Telecaster Deluxe. Wired with dual Fender Wide Range humbucking pickups on the neck and bridge and three-way toggle pickup switching on the upper shoulder, the Classic ’72 Deluxe is a great example of why a country favorite so easily seduced rocker and rollers of all kinds. A maple “C”-profile neck with 12”-radius maple fingerboard and 21 medium jumbo frets, as well as a “bullet” truss rod, three-bolt neck plate with MicroTilt, large pickguard, expanded control set with skirted knobs, and a vintage-style Stratocaster hard-tail bridge round out the bevy of stylish, period-correct components. Very hard to find as they do not make these anymore. This has never left our store and has only been played a handful of times.
It weighs approx 7.75 lbs. It comes with the Fender gig bag in the pics.
