Item: USSTRATE330532
On page 185 of the Stratocaster Chronicles Book by Tom Wheeler there lies a picture of this 1983 experimental neck-trough construction maple body and neck Stratocaster. With its ebony fingerboard, American black walnut body "wings," two humbuckers and decorative brass pickup housing this one of a kind prototype Stratocaster has not really seen the light of day until now. It was purchased by a Fender Employee in 1983 who kept it as part of his personal Fender collection . This is the first time this guitar is being offered to the public. Very few unreleased Fender prototype guitars ever reach the market so here's your chance to take home a piece of history.
