The Goal: The idea behind this pedal was simple, I wanted a simple way to duplicate that Comfortably Numb solo tone. That tone has always captivated me. So rich and complex and yet, David G gets it by using a Fuzz Box? The Prysm Fuzz was the result.

The Prysm Fuzz has its roots in the early 1970’s. It is characterized by having lower gain and a pronounced scoop in the mid-range. This gives the Prysm Fuzz a uniquely smooth texture that was famously adopted by David Gilmour of Pink Floyd. As the artwork hints, this fuzz is intended to hit that Comfortably Numb solo tone, from The Wall, as well as several Pink Floyd tones that can be found on the Animals, Momentary Lapse of Reason and Division Bell albums.

The Prysm Fuzz is capable of so much more than just Floyd tones. Any lover of distortion and fuzz will feel right at home here. The smooth, creamy sustain will take you into modern territory as well as nailing the classics.
