This contact microphone is designed to record on almost any instrument or surface, the interior is is insulated with a recycled foam filling to reduce unwanted high frequencies and reduce noise from mounting.
Tape, glue or strap it to just about any instrument or surface and run it through an amplifier to make it electric. In most cases a gain stage will be necessary (like an amplifier or mixer) when using as a microphone. Also works great as a trigger source for a CV compatible synthesizer without the need for an amplifier.
Patch cable not included.
