Here is a voltage converter capable of transforming 9v into 18v. Plug 9v from your power supply into the input (white jack), then use the transformed 18v at the output (red jack) to power a pedal capable of receiving 18v. Increasing the voltage that powers a pedal increases the headroom and can change some characteristics of the sound as well.
