King of the Archtops, D'angelico New Yorker cutaway from 1959. Great woods and color, a great player and rather great sounding, made at the end of the period when John is thought to have done his best work. Some touch up on the treble side of the body and a few more reinforcement strips internally in the same area. No apparent damage inside or out. Non original but period case. Local pickup and wire transfer.
