Benedetto 16B Archtop in Antique Burst in excellent condition.

Please note, the listed price is for a local pickup, or personally hand delivered by me or a designee, and an all cash price.

Bob recently evaluated this guitar for me and he stated:
Benedetto 16-B #S2629
"The 16-B is a first-rate carved top and
back archtop and should hold its value.  I would say the current market
value of this Savannah-made guitar would be the same as a new one; $11,500."
Please note, the listed price is a local pickup only firm all cash price.

Jazz Guitar Today, The Benedetto 16B a world-class instrument, and it can and should be considered the result of passionate dedication to the art of the luthier.
A professional level Benedetto instrument with all solid carved woods and the benefits of a
nitrocellulose lacquer finish. This is the Benedetto model most of the professional players play. Tone and ease of play is stellar. Please note, build to order time on this model is about a 1 year wait list. Contact me about shipping if local pickup is not an option for you.

This guitar has some common finish checking from where it has been played outdoors and indoors. The guitar has never been abused, there are no structural problems, subsequently there have been no repairs. Benedetto told me Finish Checking in nitrocellulose lacquer finishes refers to the process of finish aging noted as cracking that naturally occurs over time due to common changes in temperature. As the temperature increases or decreases, the instrument's woods expand or contract at a different rate than its finish, causing the finish to antique.
