HISTORY
Tony Zemaitis (1935 - August 17, 2002) was a British luthier from London. He experimented with different multi-string instruments, some of these models making their way onto the folk scene. In 1960 he began to sell his guitars at a reasonable price to cover the materials he used and quickly realized that musicians needed simple, light instruments. In 1961, after being mentioned in the music press, Zemaitis began to be approached by prominent musicians who wanted to use his guitars. The design and concept of Zemaitis have made many artists adopt these guitars, from George Harisson to Zakk Wylde.
