The biggest difference between this archtop and any other you'll probably find that this one is very easy to play. The whole neck has been refretted at some point and the action is very low. The Tuners have been significantly upgraded from the originals. You can even plug it in if you want to - there is a 1/4 jack/strap-button. The truss rod cover is just a facade, there is no rod, but the neck is very straight as demonstrated by the low action. There are some little signs of being around 60 years old, of course, but everything considered this guitar is a very fine specimen - and most importantly, it's a great player!
