Vintage 1959 Hofner Club 60 Natural Blonde Electric Guitar w/ Bound Ebony Flame

This is the top line Hofner Club 60 in wonderful condition. The ebony bound fingerboard, and the beautiful flamed woods on this make it a guitar to die for! It plays extremely well for an early Hofner, and it really does sing. The previous owner purchased this in the 1960s from a work colleague, and the family has owned it until today. It is in lovely condition, with a few light dings, but nothing significant. The original pick guard was lost decades ago, and a newer replacement has been added to it, which suits the guitar very well. Unfortunately there has been another knob added to the guitar, next to the control plate, but we believe this was done extremely early on as the knob is certainly period. It is definitely not a pristine example, but it is one heck of a guitar! Please have a close look at the high resolution photographs below, as these form part of our description.
