Vintage MICRO FRETS WANDERER ELECTRIC GUITAR Sunburst. Vintage piece. Feel free to ask questions about this piece. I would rather the buyer of this guitar be well-informed than for me to miss something in this description.
Some might say that Micro Frets guitars were way ahead of their time, others might say they are crazy... I feel there is room for both positions. This Wanderer plays very well and sounds AMAZING with the two Rowe pickups. It has a built in radio transmitter that, if you have a FM receiver, you could play wirelessly. We haven't tested the transmitter as we do not have a FM receiver in the shop, but the rest of the guitar is fully functional. The adjustable compensated nut is a great invention, if not a bit much... but it stays in tune. The pickups are dated Dec 1968 which would probably put this guitar solidly as an early '69 model. Overall, it is in good condition with no breaks, or repairs. A previous owner tried to open the two piece body by trying to pry the seem open with a flat head screwdriver leaving chips along the perimeter. The battery door is missing, but all in all... for a guitar from 69, it is a beauty. There is no case for this guitar, unfortunately.
