Benson call this their Preamp because it is! The circuit is based on the the Chimera 30 watt guitar amplifier, but substitutes FET transistors for the vacuum tubes.
The result is an extremely amp-like and versatile clean boost/overdrive/fuzz pedal that imparts rich harmonics and a very musical EQ to your signal chain…truly a Chimera in a box!
Power requirements:
9VDC Boss style adapter or battery 50ma
Controls:
Gain, Volume, Treble, Bass.
***On occasion these rollout with black knobs rather than white. Please specify if you prefer one or the other. Thanks.
Please note the bulk of what we sell is MADE IN THE USA and as a result is not subject to tariffs etc. With respect to items that are not Made in the USA, we cover any tariffs on our end.
