Beautiful Washburn Model 435 Brazilian Rosewood and Adirondack Spruce guitar.

An absolutely stunning vintage Washburn Brazilian rosewood guitar from 1912-1915.  This model 435 has been well cared for and played.  The figure of the rosewood is striking.
The sound is loud and deep.  It plays beautifully.  The original bar frets have plenty of life left in them.
2 back cracks and top cracks have been professionally repaired  (cleats inside).   The saddle slot was filled and recut so it plays in tune. The tuners were replaced many years ago.  An old celluloid pickguard was added at some point in the past as well.   A strap button is correctly installed at the side of the neck heel.  A prior strap button located on the edge of the neck heel was removed as this is a bad location.

25.5” scale length
19.25” long body
14.5” wide lower bout, 4.25” deep
10” wide upper bout, 3.75” deep

so, larger than a Martin OO, slightly smaller than a OOO.

I’ve included a brief video so you can hear it.

Enjoy!
