Melodium 42B serviced by Xaudia (new ribbon)

Another one Melodium 42B figure 8 Ribbon microphone.

Just got this one back from Xaudia, specialist of ribbon microphones, where it has been serviced and where a new ribbon was fitted.
(A second one, which received the same new ribbon treatment is available if you want a pair)

So it’s a 42b a the top of it’s game, no compromises made to bring it back to it's original condition.

It has a strong output for a Ribbon.Warm, velvety lows and low mids, but with with an open top end.It's not dark and muffled as some ribbons can be.

Be aware that It is a gigantic microphone ! (weights almost 6 pounds). 

It Comes with a brass thread adapter made by Xaudia, to fit a modern mic stand, and with a cable (original connector to XLR on the other end of course) ; ) Plug and play.
