Vintage RCA OP-6 Tube Mic Preamp - Recapped w/ Case, Cables OP6

For sale is a rare vintage RCA OP6 portable tube mic preamp in very nice condition overall. It comes with the back case, power cable and xlr pigtails and is ready to plug and play. 
This OP6 has recently been serviced to replace all electrolytic and out of tolerance film capacitors along with out of tolerance resistors. 
A lot of people mod these by hacking up the front to add controls and xlr jacks. This unit only has only one mod and it is reversible. An output volume control has been added which really opens up the sonic possibilities. The control was installed in place of the monitor jack on the front (that was pulled inside of the unit and enclosed in heat shrink). Wide open you can get tons of clean gain, but turn down the master output and crank the gain and you can get some of the most beautiful harmonic distortion on the planet.
