Carvin BK4A ...this started life as a Carvin Bass guitar kit. Needless to the original owner did the bare minimum in "finishing" the kit. As in no finishing to the body or neck.
Like a stripped-down, no frills, all business tone monster...? Well, this one's for you...
Swamp Ash body, maple neck with ebony...yes...ebony fretboard. Active electronics, master vol w/ coil tap, pickup blend knob and 3-band active EQ.

The easy to assemble Kiesel BK40 bass kit has the same premium components as other Kiesel Guitars Custom Shop instruments. Every hole is drilled for each component, including neck, bridge, volume/tone pots, and strap button mounting holes. The body just needs fine sanding before finishing. Kit comes standard with chrome hardware, two J99A Alnico single coil pickups and a set of 4011 round wound strings along with all the necessary hardware. Includes truss rod wrench and easy to follow instructions. Minor pickup lead soldering required.
Kits, Bodies and Part Necks are custom made to order. Custom Build times range depending on the options; waiting time estimate: kits 6-8 weeks, bodies 1-3 weeks and necks 2-4 weeks. If finishes are added to these times can increase by 1-3 additional weeks. Because these parts are not in-stock and made to order there is no return offered on these purchases.
Headstock logos not available for bass or guitar kits.
