The Index Beercan Shaker is made from vintage Beer and Soda cans from the 1970's. The 12oz is the standard size, and is perfect to throw in a stick bag. They are much more durable than modern cans, with thicker walls and a stronger shape. You can specify Soda or Beer in the order notes, and we'll pick a random can of either type, possibly related to the state we're shipping to, possibly from a brand you've heard of.
The "hoppy" flavor is our favorite, and a more traditional shaker tone, with nice attack and volume. It's on the louder side of the 30 shakers we tested at the drum shop, with a rich metallic sound and lots of depth.
The "smooth" flavor is much quieter, and more suited for small venues. A great tool to have in your arsenal. This is on the softer side, but with the same metallic flavor. Similar fill to the ever-popular egg shaker. I've heard from lots of people that this is their favorite of the two, so it seems like an even split.
We recommend getting both, of course, so check the other listing for the Smooth flavor.
