Roger Mayer Voodoo-Vibe – Big Box Version

Perhaps the finest modulation pedal around. Three sounds in one: classic Uni-Vibe, vibrato and tremolo. Intensity, Symmetry and Bias controls let you shape the waveform and the feel of the modulation far beyond most vibe pedals.

Roger Mayer is one of the most respected names in guitar electronics. A former British Admiralty scientist, he built Jimi Hendrix’s effects in the late 1960s, including the Octavia and the Axis Fuzz. He has since built gear for players such as Jimmy Page and Jeff Beck. His pedals are hand-built in England with a professional, no-nonsense approach to design and construction. This one has the solid enclosure and quality components you expect from his work, and it is made to be used hard on stage and in the studio.

This pedal is a serious piece of kit. The sound is clear and beautiful, with plenty of headroom. It’s completely noise-free, unlike BBD-based modulation pedals, for instance the VB-2.
