Rare Moog Subharmonicon from the 2018 Moogfest Engineering Workshop, the limited run that came before the production model. This is the original workshop edition, built at the event with guidance from Moog engineers, years before the Subharmonicon went on general sale.
The Subharmonicon is a semi-modular analog polyrhythmic synth inspired by the Rhythmicon and the Mixtur-Trautonium. It has two VCOs with four sub-oscillators for six-tone subharmonic chords, four polyrhythm generators, dual sequencers, a Moog ladder filter, and a 32-point patchbay. It works standalone or in a Eurorack system, and it pairs well with the Mother-32 and DFAM.
