This limited offering features highly figured Mapa Burl over 8-ply European Birch shells with patented HVLT (Horizontal Vertical Low Timbre) grain-orientation technology built in. These shells deliver ample attack, a punchy, warm fundamental and controlled resonance that's perfectly suited for a variety of playing situations. Pro-grade drum hardware includes low-mass mini turret lugs, graduated triple-flange hoops, STM (Suspension Tom Mounts), True-Pitch Tuning, and Remo heads. This 4-piece shell pack offers 7x10″ and 8x12″ mounted toms, a 16x16″ floor tom, and a 16x22″ bass drum. Finished in an understated natural matte lacquer, these Design Series Exotics look as good as they sound. Matching 10-ply snare sold separately.
