This particular cymbal is in very good condition with only some tarnishing spots and logo wear knocking it from excellent --> very good in my assessment. Weight comes in at 986g.

The Zildjian 17" K Custom Special Dry Trash Crash represents the pinnacle of modern, "remastered" effect cymbals. Specifically engineered for contemporary styles that demand immediate articulation and unique tonal textures, this raw, unfinished instrument provides an injection of dirty, funky attitude into any drum setup. Striking the ideal balance between a traditional crash and a fast special-effects accent, it delivers a deeply musical, trashy white-noise explosion that cuts straight through a mix and disappears exactly when you want it to.

Every raw-finish cymbal possesses its own distinct acoustic fingerprint. Sitting perfectly on the lighter, extra-thin side of its model class, this lower weight means the cymbal activates with the lightest touch. It yields an incredibly low, smoky fundamental pitch with a rapid, violent burst of high-end trashiness, opening up instantly under drumsticks, multi-rods, or bare hands.

Modern Trash Hole Architecture

Featuring strategically placed, precision-drilled structural cutouts, this cymbal’s physical profile is designed to intentionally bleed out sustain. The holes reduce the overall mass of the outer bow, inducing a fast, fiery attack packed with gritty, industrial overtones. The immediate decay ensures that it doesn't leave behind a lingering, muddy wash—making it highly prized for intricate syncopation, modern gospel chops, studio recording, and stack configurations.
