This is a King Liberty model 10525 Silvertone Bb trumpet that dates from 1932.  It is in very good condition.  It appears to have been re-lacquered in the past and has a minimal amount of lacquer wear.  Model 10525 was a medium bore (.448) and it has a Sterling Silver bell.  The bell is in excellent condition with crisp Art Deco engraving.

The valve plating shows some wear, but compression is quite good and this horn does not need any work to be ready to play.

The King Liberty trumpet was one of the iconic models produced by the H.N. White Company and the sterling silver Silvertone bells were one of their hallmark innovations.  This Depression era horn must have been quite an investment for the original owner and it has weathered the past 94 years very well.
