Dynaco A-25 Vintage 8 ohm Speaker A25 1969-1971 - Walnut Veneer

This is a single Dynaco A-25 speaker of a pretty rare variety - it has a top vent, middle-mounted SEAS 1-1/2” tweeter and bottom woofer. Depending on who you talk to, this is either a very early model, like 1969 or so, or an early 70s random production run. Any way you slice it, it‘s a classic A-25 with the classic A-25 sound. Connected to my KLH Model Fifty-Two, it sounds pretty well identical to my standard-issue A-25s that have the top-mounted tweeter and bottom vent - I paired it with each of them in turn.

I had it cleaned and recapped in September, and kept the original capacitor, which is included with the sale. The Dynaco badge, also included, is separated from its screw, which is pretty common with 50-year-old speakers. I'm leaving installation to you to avoid any potential damage in transit. The grille cloth is an aftermarket replacement. I cleaned and buffed the cabinet with Howard’s Feed-n-Wax so it looks nice and clean, and smells good to boot. It has scratches, dings and dents of the sort you’d expect in a 55+ year-old speaker. All of them are shown in the pictures.

Pricing is pretty firm, but I am open to reasonable offers. I’m also open to selling it as a mismatched pair with the A25XL I have listed separately.

I only ship within the lower 48. No returns.
