Both tubes are in pristine New Old Stock (NOS) condition. The Pinnacle Combination: "Silver Shield" + "SWGP" (СВГП) Selection
Among global High-End audiophiles and tube-rolling experts, this specific late 1974 Saratov-made 6N23P batch is a legendary masterpiece.

1. "Silver Shield": Features a bright, matte silver/nickel-plated internal separator shield between the two triode sections. These tubes possess the exact same internal structural geometry, premium materials, and breathtaking sonic properties as the famous ultra-expensive 1975 6N23P-EV blocks.
2. "SWGP" (СВГП) Special Grade Prefix: The absolute highest level of selection in Soviet history. "SWGP" stands for Super-High Reliability, Advanced Hermetic Sealing, and Vibration-Proof durability (Сверхвысокая Надежность, Герметизация, Повышенная вибростойкость). These tubes were hand-selected under rigid military oversight for aerospace, ballistic missile guidance, and top-secret defense communications.

The 6N23P tube is a direct, elite drop-in replacement for premium international E88CC / 6922 / CCa / CV2492 / ECC88 / 6DJ8 tube families. They are heavily sought after as the ultimate sound upgrade for high-end Hi-Fi tube preamplifiers, reference headphone amplifiers, reference phono stages, and top-tier DACs (such as Audio Note, Audio Research, Cary Audio, and custom master setups). They are celebrated worldwide for delivering a jaw-dropping, holographic three-dimensional soundstage, a highly transparent liquid midrange, and crystal-clear high-frequency extension with absolute immunity to microphonics. Finding a clean, factory-matched pair from this exact 1974 "Silver Shield" SWGP space-grade block is an extraordinary, once-in-a-lifetime find.Key Features and Specifications:
