Selling my Teenage Engineering TX-6. It’s gently used, kept in mint condition, and comes with the original box and cables. It retails new for $1,199, so you save about $200.
The TX-6 is a full 6-channel stereo mixer and multichannel audio interface that fits in the palm of your hand and runs on its own rechargeable battery. It’s the perfect hub for a portable setup: OP-1, OP-Z, pocket operators, grooveboxes, phones, synths, and more.
Highlights:
- 6 stereo input channels and 3 stereo outputs
- Works as a 12-in/12-out USB-C audio interface for your DAW (Mac/Windows)
- iPhone/iPad compatible (MFi) for mobile recording and mixing
- Built-in EQ, filters, compressor, aux send, cue, and digital effects
- Configurable knobs: keep 3-band EQ under your fingers or assign them to whatever you want
- DJ mode turns channel one into a crossfader between channels 5 and 6
- Built-in synth and sequencer, plus drum sounds and a tuner
- Tempo sync, USB and Bluetooth MIDI
- Headset mic support
- OLED display and solid all-metal build
Why it’s great: Nothing else packs this much mixing and routing power into something this small. Plug in your gear, run it on battery, and mix anywhere: couch, park, stage, or studio. It’s also a seriously beautiful piece of design.
