Schecter Johnny Christ Bass in Satin Black B-Stock

The Schecter Johnny Christ Signature Bass delivers a naturally comfortable neck feel paired with a satin black finish that maintains grip through extended playing sessions. Built to working-musician standards, this instrument produces punchy, articulate tone with tight low-end definition—a voice engineered to cut through dense mixes whether laying down heavy metal grooves, modern rock, or contemporary alternative material. Responsive dynamics and intentional sustain reward precise playing on every note.

Playability & Construction

A 34" scale maple neck with C-profile shaping and ebony fretboard ensures smooth, fast passages without compromise. The 21 Narrow X-Jumbo frets on a 12" radius accommodate both precision fretting and aggressive playing styles, while the bolt-on ash body with gold hardware delivers resonance and long-term stability.

Tone & Electronics

A matched pair of EMG pickups—EMG 81 at the neck and EMG MMCS at the bridge—feeds into an active 2-band EQ with master volume and blend controls. This configuration provides articulate note separation, punchy attack, and the tonal flexibility to dial in clarity or aggression as needed, powered by an accessible 9-volt battery compartment.
