For sale is a set of two Focusrite Saffire PRO 40 professional FireWire audio interfaces in black.

These are professional 1U rack-mount recording interfaces designed for home studios, professional recording studios, musicians, producers, and audio engineers.

Each Saffire PRO 40 features an extensive selection of microphone inputs, line outputs, monitoring controls, and digital connections.

Connections & Inputs (Per Unit)

● 8 XLR/TRS combo inputs for connecting microphones, instruments, and line-level equipment.

● 2 inputs located on the front.

● 6 additional inputs located on the rear.

● 10 balanced 1/4” TRS analog outputs for studio monitors, headphones through external equipment, and routing audio to other gear.

● 2 optical connections (ADAT) for expanding the number of available digital audio inputs and outputs.

● 2 FireWire 400 ports for connecting to a computer and daisy-chaining compatible FireWire equipment.

● 2 MIDI DIN connections (MIDI In and MIDI Out) for keyboards, synthesizers, and other MIDI equipment.

● 2 RCA S/PDIF connections (digital input and output).

● 1 IEC power connection.

Front Panel Knobs & Controls

Each unit includes:

● 8 individual input gain knobs to adjust the recording level of each of the eight microphone/line inputs.

● 2 phantom power switches to supply 48V phantom power to microphone inputs 1–4 and 5–8, respectively. Used with compatible condenser microphones.

● 2 instrument switches for selecting instrument-level input mode on the first two channels, useful for guitars and basses.

● 2 pad switches to reduce incoming signal levels when recording louder sources.

● 1 main monitor volume knob to control the listening level of connected studio monitors.

● 1 Dim button to temporarily lower monitor volume.

● 1 Mute button to silence the monitor outputs.

● 2 independent headphone volume knobs for adjusting the two separate headphone outputs.

● 2 front-mounted 1/4” headphone jacks for connecting headphones.
